Sum41 Final Show in Holland

Deryck Whibley, singer and guitarplayer of SUM41 played the final show of the band in the Netherlands. As local promotor rep and production manager I was involved in the production.

I was working on the production of the final show of SUM41 in the Netherlands. During production load in and the rehearsal day guitar tech Tom asked if I knew a guitar store. Well, in fact I do, I know a guy who owns a store, that happens to be me!

So we picked up some gear from the store and took it to the venue. I took a Dan Armstrong London guitar from '77, a Greco Custom Super Power from '81, a Hamer from '82 and a bunch more. The guitars were put in the dressingroom area and pretty soon, they knew; the Greco is amazing! Tom said; if the boss isn't buying it, I will!

So during rehearsals and soundcheck, the guitar was checked out and fully proven right! 

"it is hard to lay down", it is a perfec fit!

So happy to be able to get him a really nice guitar!
